it's a new decade

i think that i'm going to email the lady at volunteer services for gillette hospital and see if she got the referrals that i need in order to work as a volunteer there, since my grandma claims that i told her that robin faxed them to gillette already. i want a job there, even if it is just volunteering, it'll give me something to do in this new decade. i was talking to my grandma last night on the phone and she was telling me that she could feel that this year would be "our year". i don't know if she was just saying that to sound smart or what but i really hope that good things start happening for me. my grandma went to the casino with two of her friends, so she isn't going to see me today or do what she was going to do for me today. i'm stuck here at my mom's place, alone, sitting in front of a muted tv (the remote to the tv is on the table in front of me but my laptop charger is in front of the table, so if i try to get the remote, i'll run over my charger and be out of a laptop. what a nice day it is. right, see this is why i don't like coming to my mom's place.. i'm usually stuck alone in front of a tv and having to blog, where i'm usually complaining.
